Taylor Swift revealed that she wanted to be 100% sure her beef with Katy Perry was squashed before announcing to the press they were on "good terms" again.
For those that don't know, it all started when Perry supposedly poached Swift's backing dancers right before a tour and from there thinly veiled diss tracks were fired back and forth.
Speaking about their surprise reunion, Swift said,
"We saw each other at a party and walked up to each other and hugged it out and talked about things, and then we saw each other again and hung out at another party and it was just like something felt so much lighter about my life when things became really good between us.
"And, you know, she and I have been fine for a while and really on good terms but we didn't know if we were ever gonna really tell people about it.
"We wanted to make sure that was solid between us before we ever made the public aware."
Ramping up their rekindled friendship, the two dressed up as a hamburger and French fries in Taylor Swift's new single 'You Need To Calm Down'.
Katy, 34, donned a giant burger suit in a food fight towards the end of the video, setting up the ultimate climax as Taylor, 29, dressed in a French fries outfit notices her and hugs her.
For now, at least, it seems all is well in the Swift Camp.
Until someone else steals her backup dancers....
