Lady Gaga is a free-spirit who does what she pleases, and she seemed to have met her future self when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show in 2013.
Sitting next to her was the British soap actress June Brown, a respected actress in her native England for her long-running role as Dot Cotton on the BBC soap Eastenders.
The unlikely pairing quickly hit it off and was soon inseparable. The 92-year-old actor even told a British tabloid that she still thinks fondly of the encounter and was even invited to go out clubbing with her!
"She was so funny, intelligent and down to earth, but when she went in front of the press, you could see her put the Gaga persona on.
"She saw me sitting on my own and came back, dropped the whole Gaga thing and invited me to a nightclub.
"Sadly I couldn't make it, but I thought what a charming and talented girl."
While we're surprised Brown had other plans that were seemingly more important than clubbing with the one and only Lady Gaga, we can understand that a nightclub probably isn't her idea of a fun night out considering she was 86!
Now 92 and still alive and kicking, Gaga had nothing but praise for the legendary soap star when she sat next to her on the red couch.
"I am a really big fan of yours. You are so fabulously dressed. I am honoured to be sitting next to you. I want to drink from your cup to see what those genes are," she said.
A chain-smoker from an early age, Brown said that the secret to a long and happy life is doing what you love, even if others tell you it isn't healthy.
"I'm going to die of something fairly soon, so why not enjoy myself? she said to The Mirror newspaper. "I love red wine and also dark chocolate... and the Guinness helps me keep a bit of weight on. So I don't need to be careful about what I eat or drink.
"What's the point of counting how many cigarettes I smoke a day? I've been on them for over 70 years.
"I did try one of those new electronic cigarettes, but it was so heavy it kept falling out of my mouth - so that went in the bin."
