Remember 50 Cent? He was the rapper famously shot 9 times before bursting onto the rap scene with his breakout debut record, Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
He was certainly one of the genre's biggest stars in the noughties and solidified his place the hip-hop hall of fame with a series of chart-topping anthems, but these days, 50 Cent has pretty much given up on his music career in favor of reinventing himself as a semi-good actor.
He's also stayed in the news for his online spats with the likes of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather, and his latest online feud has once again made headlines.
But he didn't have beef with any fellow celebrity, but rather the social media giant, Instagram. Why? Because one of his photos was taken down after a third party reported it for copyright infringement and violating their rights.
With 20.8 million followers, the American rapper is certainly an influential figure on the platform, so perhaps with that in mind, he threw shade at Instagram by writing a follow-up post which read, "Follow me on Twitter @50cent lm done with instagram this shit is wack. #bellator #lecheminduroi".
However, most people were quick to call him out on this. "Good stop being a douche," a user commenting below wrote. Another joked, "@instagram dont play that shit with 50 get the strap."
Others were more cynical, with one writing, "You'll be back as you did before.."
Fiddy, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is known for his public spats- even with members of his family.
Following a dispute with his estranged son's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, his son, Marquise Jackson, told him to grow up.
"And y'all wonder why I don't respect him as a man or father? You had a good run but it's over big fella lol it's been a decade. You're 40+ you can grow up any day now".
He then added, rather bluntly, "You starting to look a little thirsty you ok? Child support is over. l don't know what else to say, wait call Floyd he will let you strip at his joint."
These people sure know how to keep things classy.
