Lady Gaga has called off her engagement with talent manager Christian Carino.
Speaking to People, a source in the Gaga camp revealed, "It just didn't work out. Relationships sometimes end."
Eager-eyed fans noticed things weren't right when the star performed without her engagement ring at the Grammys. It's no secret that the on-screen chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in the much-praised drama A Star is Born was nothing short of mesmerizing, and ever since the film came out, fans have hoped their chemistry on screen might translate into a real love story.
There were even rumors that their working relationship was turning into love after Cooper appeared as a surprise guest at the hitmaker's Las Vegas show.
However, it is worth noting that Bradley Cooper is in a long-term relationship with the Russian supermodel Irina Shayk. The beautiful couple also shares a child, and constant rumors of a supposed romance between Cooper and Gaga can't be nice things to hear for Shayk.
And while fans can speculate all they want, it's worth remembering that these two amazing artists are actors. Actors people. Get it?
Despite this, fans haven't stopped pinning them up as the ultimate couple. One Twitter user even advised singletons to, "Find someone who looks at you the way Bradley Cooper looks at Lady Gaga."
As for Gaga calling off the engagement, it must be a busy time for the star due to whirlwind nature of awards season, but no concrete reason was given for the breakup.
