The controversial American rapper Kodak Black has posted a picture of himself on Instagram in his Florida jail cell.
The 22-year-old has found himself in hot water for not registering a series of firearms which included a 9mm handgun, a 380-calibre handgun and a semi-automatic Mini Draco weapon.
Captioning the picture, Black wrote. "The Streets Thin Na Cuz Everybody Gettin Hung ..Lawyers Sittin Back Suckin All A N**** Funds.#SG #10TOESDOWN."
However, despite speculation, he was unhappy with his representation, his lawyer Bradford Cohen said the rapper's quotes were from old music.
The quirky artist is expected to remain in the slammer until September following his arrest in May, just minutes before he was scheduled to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival.
Despite repeated attempts at paying bail to fight against a sexual assault charge in South Carolina, Judge Federico Moreno rejected the request and claimed he was a 'danger to the community.'
The firearm charges are just a few of many for the troubled artist, who is also charged with drug and sexual assault charges.
However, Black's lawyer believes his client's arrest was racially motivated, citing his suspicions that an informant was in the store the same day Kodak purchase a firearm.
