Jennifer Lopez has dated, everyone, from A-list musicians and actors to backup dancers and church boys, which is probably why Tinder saw her as the perfect match for the latest episode of their online show, Swipe Sessions
Appearing on the show to assist a 29-year-old country singer in her quest for love, Lopez had plenty of advice to give, the main piece of advice seemingly being that all guys under 33 are 'useless'.
Seeming to throw shade at her recent exes (Drake was 30 when the pair hooked up, while Casper Smart, who she started dating in 2011 was only 24), the multitalented performer dismissed many profiles until she came across a dashing fellow called Maurice.
The 29-year-old also caught contestant Brooke's eyes, and as he only lived four miles away, it seemed like a viable match. Well, unless you follow J-Lo's advice.
"Guys - until they're 33 are really useless," she quipped. Harsh, but maybe true, the mum-of-two might be making sweeping generalizations but she's had her fair share of experiences to know what works and what doesn't.
Echoing her thoughts is relationship expert Dr Jane Greer. Speaking to Business Insider, the New York-based relationship guru said, "It can take men into their early 30s to establish their professional career and feel a sense of financial stability, which helps them feel more secure in life.
"As a result, this can give them the maturity that comes with accomplishment, experience, and success."
Do you agree with Lopez and Greer? Or are they spouting sheer nonsesnse?
