When you see your favorite actors and actresses or singing sensations strutting the red carpet, it can be easy to forget that they may have talents outside those of which they are known for. They do, after all, only parade the one which has made them a star and is earning them money so why shout about anything else?

However, like anybody else in the world, these stars can be multifaceted and very talented people in other areas and so here we look at 10 stars with talents you may not have known about.

1. Will Smith - Musician

We're going to start off with the blindingly obvious here s most people will know that Will Smith started off his career as a rapper and was actually the first rap artist to receive a Grammy Award. Of course, if you are not of a certain age, you will not be aware that the Hollywood A-Lister also had a very successful rap career but he does sporadically release something every now and then.

It was, in fact, only because of money troubles that Will Smith accepted his first role in  The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and the rest is history.

The actress who came to the fore in the television show Mr. Selfridge as Roxy and then got her big break after being cast in the latest Star Wars movies is also an incredibly talented jazz singer and has even performed with the likes of such legends as Barbara Streisand.
