Like many other young people, Tre Brooker and Madison Haulter took pictures of their color coordinated outfits for their high school prom before going off and enjoying the evening's festivities and the pair were looking spectacular.

The pair had been dating for over a year and were only too happy to post the pictures online but, such is the nature of the internet, they soon found that some hurtful comments had been posted about their snaps.

One person tweeted: “Wow he loves you even tho you’re fat,” and others asked Booker if he had lost a bet.But the couple, who live in Indianapolis in the US, have both responded brilliantly.

Haulter didn't rise to the comment or respond with bile of her own but merely responded by saying: “Don't see how people can be rude to people they don't even know” but it was Tre's response that drew the most praise from all corners.

Replying to Halter's message, he tweeted out “Your [sic] not fat baby,” he wrote. “God made you just for me. Your [sic] perfect.”

Since this, his response caught the attention of many internet users and the pair has been inundated with support from across the globe saying how sweet he was and how great both the pair look.

The responses then caught the attention of the mainstream media who spoke to Madison, “This is the craziest thing ever,” Haulter told Fox 59. “I never expected this to happen. I just thought my friends would reply and that’s it.”
